Evergreen Canine Co. Terms & Conditions

1. Equipment Use
I understand and agree that Evergreen Canine Co. may use company-provided leashes, harnesses, and/or collars as needed for safety. Evergreen Canine Co. does not use prong collars or e-collars under any circumstances.

2. Behavior & Liability
I understand that dog walking services are not a formal training environment, and Evergreen Canine Co. is not responsible for my dog’s behavior during or after services. I accept full responsibility for any actions, damages, or injuries caused by my dog.

3. Vaccination Requirements
I confirm that my dog is fully up-to-date on rabies and core vaccines. I consent to providing proof of vaccination upon request.

4. Behavior Disclosure
I agree to fully disclose any behavioral concerns, reactivity, fears, bite history, or aggression before my first session. I understand that failure to disclose may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

5. Right to Refuse Service
Evergreen Canine Co. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a dog’s temperament, health, or environment poses a safety risk.

6. Health & Safety During Service
If my dog becomes sick, injured, overheated, or distressed, Evergreen Canine Co. will immediately stop the service and contact me or my emergency contact.

7. Emergency Veterinary Care
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Evergreen Canine Co. to transport my dog to the nearest available veterinarian. I understand that I am responsible for all veterinary costs.

8. Weather Policy
Evergreen Canine Co. will notify me of changes required due to unsafe weather. Walks may be substituted with indoor enrichment, shorter routes, or rescheduling if needed.

9. Leash Policy
All dogs are kept on-leash at all times unless in a fully fenced private yard with explicit permission. Retractable (“Flexi”) leashes are not permitted. Evergreen Canine Co. may refuse off-leash requests for legal or safety reasons.

10. Training Expectations
I understand that training progress depends on consistency, environment, and my dog’s individual temperament. Evergreen Canine Co. does not guarantee behavioral results but will provide the highest standard of instruction, safety, and support.

11. Cancellations & Refunds
Walks cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full.
Training sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.
If Evergreen Canine Co. cancels for any reason, clients will receive a full refund or session credit.

12. Damage & Incident Liability
I accept responsibility for any damages, injuries, or incidents caused by my dog during or after services. Failure to disclose behavioral risks voids Evergreen Canine Co.’s liability. Special handling fees may apply for dogs with reactivity, anxiety, or aggression.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy
• Full refunds or credits are issued if Evergreen Canine Co. cancels for any reason.
• No refunds are given for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.

Walking Cancellation Policy
• Walks cancelled with 24+ hours’ notice → full refund or credit
• Walks cancelled with under 24 hours’ notice → charged in full

Training Cancellation Policy
• Training cancelled with 48+ hours’ notice → full refund or credit
• Training cancelled with under 48 hours’ notice → charged in full
• No guarantee is made regarding training outcomes, as each dog’s temperament and consistency vary.

Extreme Weather or Safety Issues
• Evergreen Canine Co. may pause, shorten, or reschedule services for extreme weather (heat, storms, ice) or unsafe conditions.
• Clients may choose enrichment-based indoor alternatives when available.
